No! Maine is a Direct Access State. That means that you do not need a referral from your doctor in order to come to physical therapy. If you have already seen your doctor and have a referral, we would be more than happy to review it.

Kennebunk Physical Therapy is considered an out-of-network practice. This means that we do not contract with any insurance company. We are not beholden to the rules and regulations that insurance companies place on health care providers, restricting the level of care we can provide. This allows us to deliver unmatched personalized care in a truly one-on-one setting.

We accept cash, checks, all major credit cards, and payments from Health Savings (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).

If you have a commercial insurance plan from a non-federal payor, you can submit superbills, that KPT will provide you, to your insurance provider. If you have health insurance through a federal payor, such as Medicare, or have a secondary health insurance plan that is a federal payor, the staff at KPT will be more than happy to discuss your reimbursement options.

Yes! In most cases, athletes of all ages need more than one treatment session to meet their goals. KPT offers a 10-session bundle at a discounted rate. You and your physical therapist will discuss the best option for you.
