Bobby Cochrane PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS

Bobby is the owner and lead physical therapist at Kennebunk Physical Therapy, bringing extensive clinical expertise and a commitment to helping individuals move, heal, and thrive. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of New England and holds advanced certifications as a Sports Certified Specialist (SCS) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)—credentials that place him among a select group of professionals specializing in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.

Dedicated to delivering the highest level of care, Bobby has pursued advanced training throughout his career, ensuring that every patient benefits from the latest evidence-based treatments. His experience spans orthopedic and neuromuscular rehabilitation, post-surgical recovery, concussion management, and sports performance enhancement. He has worked with a diverse patient population, from youth and collegiate athletes recovering from injury to individuals seeking to regain mobility and strength after surgery.

Prior to founding Kennebunk Physical Therapy, Bobby played a key role in developing and managing post-concussion rehabilitation programs and contributed to research initiatives aimed at advancing best practices in physical therapy. His expertise has been recognized at both the state and national levels—he was honored as an Emerging Leader by the Maine Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) in 2017 and featured in APTA’s PT in Motion. He has also been a featured speaker at professional conferences across the country.

Beyond the clinic, Bobby is deeply rooted in the Kennebunk community, spending time with his wife, their two sons, and their golden retriever. Whether coaching his children’s hockey team, fishing in local waters, or participating in community events, he remains committed to fostering a healthier, more active community.
